Lighting showroom and retail store for the Berlin based premium-brand JBW Interiors. The store concept for JBW Lights combines an individual presentation of decorative luminaires matching the luxury aesthetics of the manufacturer JBW with its core compentence in high quality furnishing. The approach was to use the height of the entree effectively and create individual presentation spaces for various lighting types on two floors to achieve an open and remarkable visual experience for the customer. A wall sized showcase installation connects groundfloor with the mezzanine, while on the opposite side of the entree a wall panel in ceiling height can be equiped with cantilever shelfs to present table lamps vertically. Freestanding display tables in both floors provide additional presentation and storage space. All fittings and furniture are connected to an electric supply network that is switchable via tablet pc. The warm apperance of oak wood and the dark slate flooring constitute the background for fabrics, glas, polished metal surfaces and other details of the lighting components. The project included all planning phases, production of construction documents and on-site supervision as well as planning and implementation of all furniture.
